First Miles on Pro

I probably rushed it a little, but I was able to put 35 miles on today from a recent small snow storm that passed over the big horns last week. I don't have a lot to report on rider impressions of the machine as I took it pretty easy for break in and marginal snow, but a few (none that you have not heard):

The machine feels light!
It feels like a Polaris (previous Polaris was an 08 D8)
The suspension works better than the IQ
The fuel delivery feels good (no hesitations, blurps, bogs, etc. in the middle)
The carbon fiber bumber is slick when wet!
It did not seem to use as much oil as my Dragon, which was concerning at first, but it was drawing the level down.
Power was hard to judge on a ride like this, but feels similar to previous 800 cfi, although as mentioned I took it pretty easy for break in, and limited it to a few short full throttle pulls.

Sounds good! I feel like this is the best RMK in a while. I think it is going to be an awesome sled for sure! I just wish I could afford one right now, haha. Thanks for the update.

You don't get full power until after a couple of hours, maybe 100 miles of riding. There is a break-in map built into the machine.

And it looks like you had deep enough snow to elaborate on your ride?

You have made me soooo.... envious!!

really only one picture :P

From the same set of photos, only stopped once to take a quick pic because we were having too much fun!

And it looks like you had deep enough snow to elaborate on your ride?!!

The snow was good in the trees and shade but is going fast. It has been warm for the last couple of days and it is settling fast.

Haha!

oh you guys suck, i'm loading up and heading to the snowys.

I wouldn't rush a trip unless you just want to put a few miles in. Still alot of landmines everywhere. Definetly have to pick your poison. Caught a few rocks but no damage.
