ok, now that Ice looks WAY too thin to be out on.

How much snow is actually up there?

Yes it was, no choice though, it was only 6 feet deep, checked today. I was water skiping this area and the front of my sled was straight up in the air, the track caught and through me and the sled upside down and down the lake about 500 feet out into the middle. I came to rest about 50 feet from my sled and this kid who was the smallest one watching us, belly crawled out to my sled from the backend and pushed as I pulled it, it didn't stop running for about 5 minutes on it's side, then it finally fouled out and died! It was some sketchy crap for about 30 minutes!!!

There was enough were we rode, and we had stickers!!! Greenies? Those guys can't get there! Just kidding!! We rode up lake marie on Saturday, there was still about a foot on it. Right shoot!

I saw you guys filling up in town.. Thought about going over to talk to you but I knew I would just be pi$$ed off for not being able to go... It would have been nice to say that I sledded in late June this year, and started in late Oct. I'll have to wait until the next storm. You are flippin crazy.. were the fish bitting??

Yeah fish were nibbling at my arse!!! Should have takin a fishing pole, yeah thats kinda why I did it latest and earliest riding I have ever done! That and I wanted to break my top end in. It runs good now. 98MPH down the road!! Up from 85 last year. Should have good track speed!! Take it easy bud, we got a couple weeks to a month before any great riding. Supposed to be in the 50's here in town all week, should get up to 30-40 on the mountain. I'll keep you posted on when you need to make the trip down!

I still haven't put my tunnel on yet, so Iam in no hurry for the nytro to get busted up.. I'll ride my sons new m8 until then..hehehehee..

Haha, thats what kids and wifes sleds are good for, early season riding! LOL. Hey I'm getting an enclosed trailer with stickers the same size and in the color of my truck maybe. Some drunk lady hit my trailer Saturday morning and probably totaled it, into my neibors truck and car. She's in jail still so I'm not sure if she had insurance yet. Fingers crossed, if not my home insurance will cover it and go after her later. We should be styling this year! And easy to reconize. Thinking of getting sponsored by your mom on it somewhere to say thanks to that lady that bought me a new trailer!! LOL

Snowcross338, hey im new to laramie im attending the university. I just had a ? are the snowies known to have a lot of avelanches, i live in lander where there are few avs but ride togwotee, but have only caused one and it was real small in June.
Thanks,
Keylen

Mid season to late season, pretty prone, most areas slide before your on them though. Beacons are a must! Pretty musch every few years someone dies out here in an avy. Becarefull and never assume the area is safe. Most of the shoots have cornices on them, I have only caused a couple small ones and seen quite a few large house sized pieces scattered in the field. Hope that answered your question. Togawtee seems worse though.

when is the next storm suppose to blow through? and hopefully the snow will stick around so there a base started.

It is supposed to be warm all week, people call it nice weather, but they are retarded!! Not sure after that, hopefully soon, usually atleast snows on Halloween!
