Well, I gave it my best shot this season... Looks like with the 860 and slushy snow I didn't have all the bugs worked out with my suspension to put ALL my power to the ground -and I needed ALL of it to get to the top!! So, I gave her a rip a few times and got spit out a few times, prudy darn frustrating but it just means she's left until next year!! unless one of you ladies wants to get up there and claim her!!

My write up on it is on the 'Frenchie Climbed the Angry Pirate' thread but i wanted to start this one with it's own title to get the ladies that might be on here lookin at it!

One of the HUGE ics chunks I narrowly missed on my ballhoot back down the Monster!

Anyway ladies... I'm posting this to up the anty a little bit. Not wanting to encourage anyone to be too risky but do want to encourage us all to push the limits a bit!! If you're into chute climbing, get out there and climb it and tell us your story!!!

a optimal suspension is my main goal this off season...when climbing the steeper stuff, boosted or not, that rear skid plays the bigger role...im learning this the slow way

Thanks guys!! It was a wild ride for sure and super fun!! And yes, a big burly turbo might make my life easier but I dunno, if I can't tune in my 860 to put the power to the snow what makes me think I can tune in a turbo!!?? (sides there is no way in HECK D would let his two favorite things in the world head towards one nasty place together!! Ok, so I'm tooting my own horn to say I rate up there with his new turbo sled!! hehehehe)

Anyway the PURPOSE of this post was the ENCOURAGE other chicks to get in there and get her done!! Spark up a little competitive fun! Not the trash talking or sled sabatoging stuff that hardass might do to 03RMKing (I heard you had the hood up on Toms sled before we went in that day Larry! hahahaha) but that hey, you can do it stuff that us chicks are known for!!

Just that, hey, I gave her a poke and lived to tell about it, it's not THAT bad!! It was pretty nasty in there with ruts and greasy snow and after a few tries it was just getting too fast for me to want to keep coming down it, plus, I wasn't making it any further! I just know there are a TON of chicks out there with talent; I'm lucky enough to call many of them my friends too!! Girls, if you want to do this stuff there should be NUTHING stoppin you!!! Granted I lined up a GREAT crew to head in there with me and I was totally confident that they would know exactly what to do if anything went wrong. And Kev practically dove down that chute to get me when my sled was teetering above that face! -until I told him to slow down cause he was gonna dislodge a slush avy that would take me down with it!!

So ladies, if you want some of those big daddy chutes get after it!!

Actually, I think I might do a little BASIC write up on some of the skills I used while in there so that some of you may have a heads up on what to work on next season so you're prepared for the chute climbing season when it arrives! It will be on the ladies forum when I get a chance for any of you ladies who might be interested!

So impressed Emilie! And I think I'm more impressed with the multiple wild turnouts inside that chute than I might have been with a top out! But I know you'll top that sucker out too!

I had the pleasure of getting to see Skadi's galliant effort at slaying the monster... I gotta say, after turning out once in the throat, I didn't expect to see her hit it again and again!!! In the right snow conditions, she would have had it nailed. Emilie is really stepping it up for women riders and deserves a big pat on the back.

Some crazy lady is going to look at the Monster a little differently, and get out there and hit it... Just because one brave gal tried it... You ROCK!!!
