I believe that is the Buffalo Creek fire as well, to close for comfort! The state is burning up! There is one 15,000+ acres on casper mountain and there is one still burning down in the winds and one been burning for a month on Rock Creek in the horns. I dont think the fire danger will go down till we see snow.
Don't get me wrong tho, fire is a good tool to keep our forests and rangelands healthy. But when it starts eating up structures and important things it is ugly. Most people really underestimate the fire return on forests and why its so important.
