Thanks, I learnt alot on the install. I think it is nicer having the boost controler there then under the hood, we sill see though. I am running pure av gas, and hope to run around 12-14psi of boost. According to most people I have talked to on the forums I am hoping to be around 200 hp at 6-9000 ft, with that boost level but we will see. As far as reliabilty goes the D7 is supposed to be pretty good with boost, but I can't tell you until I have a few miles on it. There is 2300 miles on the sled, So I threw a new top end at it with the two ring pistons, and stock heads. I am sure there will be people argue the hp numbers, but I guess we will see. Can't wait for snow!!
Doing your own install is the best way to learn about the turbo kit. It gets you familiar with all the lines and wiring in case something happens out on the hill.
Here's where I mounted my boost controller. I shouldn't have to get off the sled to adjust it.
