Hi All,
New to this forum as I bought a bike on Friday...
2019 Yamaha YZ450 Mototrax 129 Track
Gas Caddy, Engine Blanket, Thermostat Bob Thing, E-Start, other things I can't remember off hand.

After about an hour I got the hang of it. Well, I still dumped it a half dozen times... Definitely way tougher to ride on hard-packed icy road and much easier in some powder. I know I have a lot of learning, but I'm really looking forward to it. And to be fair, it was about the most fun I've had on the snow, ever.

Here's a couple videos:

Questions:
1. What general maintenance should I look forward to?
2. What tips would you have for a first time rider? (I've ridden dirt bikes long ago -- like 20 years ago). Ridden snowmobiles forever. First time on the snow bike.

Thanks,
Steve

besides keeping temps up and frequent oil changes (i do mine ever 2-3 rides) Keep an eye on your chains as they stretch a lot when new. Do the normal dirt bike stuff like checking valves occasionally, clutch wear, ect.
Far as how to well youtube has a few channels that are great, Vernon snowmx, Jethro450, and Cody Madachuck all have some great how to tips and tricks.
