Thanks for the info Devin, that is great news!

I have always been very partial to Holeshot as I feel they make an EXCELLENT product. Unfortunately, because it took them(Holeshot) a year to come out with one for this particular model I am stuck with Ski-Doo's accessory skid plates on both mine & my wifes 154 X's. I just cannot justify buying 2 more skidplates.... :(

Again, thanks for the info. I'm sure many will benefit from these. Unfortunately, I will not be one of them.

why do you need a skid plate. all they do is collect ice and add 30 lbs. i seen one at hay day and they had them on the a arms too Wtf.

Blu Du,
I like to run them on all my sleds(especially mountain sleds) to protect from those "hidden treasures" that lurk just beneath the snows surface.

A skid plate is the first thing I buy when I get a new sled, and i'm confident it's saved my azz more than a couple times. I keep hearing of people buckling their nun from running over pine cones. There have been two instance for sure that I picked myself up off the ground thinking my nun was screwed. Once was a garage and the other was a tree stump. Both times I needed a new hood, bumper, aluminum belly pan support, and once a new skid plate and belly pan. I've seen people tweak nuns doing alot less and i'm confident the skid plate transfers some of the blow through it and back into the tunnel/bulkhead saving the nun.

BTW: My last 3 sleds have had Holeshot skid plates. They are a little thicker than the Doo
