Finally got to maiden it!

Hi Guy's:
finally got to ride the sled after buying last spring. This thing has some TORQUE:face-icon-small-ton. Ran good, had it serviced, boots changed, oil pump returned fixed etc. She rides real nice and anyone who complains about the vibration, must wear high heels and G strings:rose:, it's not bad at all. Didn't even notice till I was thinking about all that is said about these. Can't wait to get more time in. in 4" of powder on the trail temps stayed at 126, with a high of 144 on hard pack going slow , that is stock haven't changed the coolant system yet. TTFN:face-icon-small-coo

don't worry took it out at home today for a little bit and smokin lotsssss check and pump lever not returnin got it apart and lookin for the mod for the spring.

Pump mod

pull the lever (make sure you look at it's position and don't move anything after).
One end of the spring hooks on the lever and the other end has a half circle bend to it that hook against the pump body. Cut the half circle bend off and then use needle nose pliers to bend a new one. Then reinstall it.

Check your cable too. You might want to invest in the FBF cable if you haven't already. The stock cable sticks all the time. I had mine into the dealer twice for this when it was still under warranty.

Thanks Z-man, I did the spring mod, and lubed and cleaned the cable, seems to work good now!:face-icon-small-win hopefully that will be it. Now have to work on the setup. I do all trail ( thats all we have here in the northeast) and was riding in the field today in 20" of powder with drifts and she just does not want to turn. I will get it just takes time.

in powder, just lean the way you want to go and turn the bars the opposite way and it will carve over like a jet ski.
