FINALLY GOT A SLED!!!!

Im looking forward to it. Luckily Ive got just enough time before the snow starts falling ;)

I'd buy that sled back from insurance in an heartbeat for only $2500.
If you paid anything close to that, you got a smoking deal.
Time to get on the VE waiting list for a sweet tunnel.

Congratulations! I came off a M and absolutely love the Pro. Much better choice than the 12 proclimbs you were looking at (I've been around the problem ones too much). I just sold the gf's M6 and will be replacing it with a Pro 600.
Best part about a salvage is you can build it better:face-icon-small-win

Congratulations on your purchase. If your looking for a tunnel, I have one. Let me know. Your gonna love your new ride.

A friend of mine bent his way worse that that. Took it to a autobody place and they straightened the tunnel and coolers with the machine that straightens unibody cars.

Thats really interesting, I just might have to look into that. In all honesty I was really thinking about just frankinstiening it back myself since Im sure Ill be breaking plenty more stuff this winter. Its really just better this way. A newer more pristien sled would be wasted on a person like myself.

I definitely did not pay $2500 for it, $5500 actually, but that's still the best deal Ive found in the past couple months, at least for a person like myself, in my financial condition.

Call up KMOD suspension in Idaho. I know they have straightened/saved well over 10 tunnels this last year and sell a bracing kit to keep it from happening again.

Thanks, but Ive got the knowledge and resources that Im planning on just fixing this one myself. After this season, depending on how everything goes Ill probably just purchase a tunnel and trade it out over the summer season.

Really I dont think its going to be too tough.

front right A-arm is also broke, the Elmers glue failed ;)

At the top of the Polaris Pro section Timber Sled has a sale for the 13 arms. No Elemers glue.
If I were getting new shocks and arms I would look at this guys stuff in the swap meet.

Picked the sled up from the dealer today and brought it to the garage to start tearing into it and seeing whats what. Looks like the only really issue is a broken brace that Im not sure what to even call. Hopefully I can purchase just the cast aluminum piece, and wont need to purchase the entire foot well support pieces along with it.

Picking up the sled!

I think this busted cast aluminum piece is the only thing I need. Is this some thing we can order as itself or do you need to order the entire piece plus footwell supports etc?
