Fernie update?

I was thinking of taking the new mrs to the pipeline/notch on Friday. With the warm weather, is there much snow left?

the yellow gates side will be done....becasue they were plowing all winter. Should be able to drive in on the morrisey side or the fas gas road from fernie.

I was out in the Tie Lake (Powder Cowboy) area last week, riding on about 2ft of fresh. Pretty sure it's all pounded out or melted now though, it's been pretty warm and sunny the last few days.

Spent the last 3 days in Fernie working....Bluebird and 10-15C in town.

I think I've given up on Fernie alltogether for sledding.

Guys guys guys! This trip is to impress a lady by showing her the mountains! If the pipeline is melted, Golden's not that far away I suppose.
