fernie snow conditions

We are looking to head to fernie over christmas,and are wondering what the snow conditions are like to date?

I would also like to know about riding in the fernie area, never been there. We have no snow,time for a road trip. Where to go, and how it compares to NW montana area.

Not enough snow for off trail riding as of yet....had a great november start but nothing for three weeks...same as everywhere else. Tough start with this big High pressure

yep theres only about 3 feet at wranglers cabin. i'm going riding elsewhere for awhile.

Thanks for the info guys,guess I will see what happens for snow conditions closer to the 26th,I see there is some snow in the forecast for fernie and revy but doesn't look like it will amount to much

got a report that last weekend that rolling hills werent too bad, i'm headed to the alberta side for a short ride saturday morning as i think it might be better there.

Any new snow there yet?
I will be there over the holidays and taking the GF for her first sled ride.
What are some easy areas to get into? I don't want to scare her too bad so that she never wants to come again.

So how much snow did fernie get in the last couple weeks I heard the staging area had 2ft we are heading back out Feb 16th ,
