Dont know what words to describe it.....Been riding there for years and this is the longest dry spell I can ever remember...the long range forecast doesnt even have a snowflake in it:mad: Exactly one year ago we rode 3 days straight of some of the best pow of our careers...and now this....I'm totally depressed:eek:

Hard as a rock and no new stuff is what I heard but I don't live there so maybe I'm wrong, I know that farther west is hard and no new stuff and that has been confirmed. ThistleDoo is right, sad year for sure.

Rode the Notch area on Friday staged at Morrisey trail in was good (cat ski section was excelent) pipe line from Wranglers not bad. Visability up high was poor so we played in the trees south of the notch. Snow cond. were great about 1 ft of heavy fresh on good bace (no land mines)and " ITS SNOWING"

I am thinking of a day trip tomorrow , can anyone confirm the conditions . Is it worth the trip. sounds like it might be ok.

I rode sunday...went to the notch to break in a new sled. Weather was great...6 inches of new snow on top of not a whole lot. Was ok to get out but the pack back there is so low its hard to believe. Still rocks and stumps sticking out everywhere......but you can ride:)

We were out on Sat-Sun and it was alright. There was a new dump Friday night which helped. We went to the end of the pipeline, to the left and up and over the other side. The rocky slopes don't have as much snow as usual but we found lots in trees and meadows. My rookie friend used his shovel a lot. i guess it depends what you want, you won't find no deep deep powder, but it was still a good ride.

Diddo here....rode Saturday. WE NEED MORE SNOW!!!! There were a lot of stumps out there. It was an ok day to run the fresh motor though

Rode yesterday in heartbreak and it was increadable. Snowing like crazy all day long and we where the only ones back there, should be good for a couple more days. Hit it while it's good gents. More snow please.
