Fellow Rider Needs Some Help!

Hey all my fellow riders, I have a friend that is participating in a Ride for Cancer here in Canada that is a 10 day ride across Saskatchewan. She needs a little help with her fundraising, she needs to make $3000 to be able to ride. Shes half way there but could use some help! My best friend was just told she has cancer(shes 25) so this hits pretty close to home for me so anything I can do to help raise some funds I will. Some people do Charity Christmas's so I thought this could be a good charity for those who ride. 100% of the donations go to the Cancer Society and any little bit helps!! I checked out the link and this looks like a very good idea..... over the last 10 years , these volunteer women and a group of ten riders have raised and donated over 1.4 million dollars to the Cancer Society.... That's impressive to have the drive to take the time to volunteer and donate all their own time to raise money year after year....

If these women can donate their time for such a worthy cause, then surely I can donate a few bucks to help them help make a difference. We had already talked about doing a Charity Christmas instead of buying into the traditional commercial Christmas and this will be something I will be donating to !!!

I would urge everyone out there to give it some thought. I would be willing to bet that we all know of someone that has been affected by this disease. Let's all help to make a difference !!!
