The 14 and older kits don't seem to need them much, but I know my 16 with TSS has so much less ski pressure and more weight rides on the track i smoked almost completely through a set of hyfax in about 5 miles. Pretty crazy how fast they go with no cooling.

The underside is just a buttonhead cap screw and a flat washer. Havnt had the opportunity to mount on Yeti skis yet, but measurements say it will work the same.
