Somewhere between too dumb to quit and flat earth
who out there has bent their rails? I know i didn't. Another option for this would be the Fastrax X-brace. i think it's like $40.

However the rails do look cool !

I bent a set pretty early in the year. i was looking for an xbrace and wasnt really able to find one but i really didnt look all that hard. From how mine bent I think that the X-Brace wouold solve all of the problems.

$70 on their website. $25 for IceAge cross shaft (plus 10 bucks for blingy anodize) or $31 each for Polaris cross shaft. I just add one or two cross shafts as they are cheap and hold less snow. When I bend/buckle rails, it's usually forward of the area pictured. YMMV

you can put the brace where ever you want. the problem with the cross braces is they will not stop the rails from twisting. just make them twist together. I put cross bars in mine and it did not stop them from bending.
