Some of you may not know but Fastrax isn't just about sledding! They are into anything that has the chance of making your adrenaline level hit the roof! Hydroplanes, summer sleds.... vroom vroom! lol

A few weeks ago I hung out with Curt and Justin for a hydroplane race! They are working with Robby Dahlquist and his 1.0 liter race boat. The thing is badasssss! To bad the weather was crap...

mps- No, did not get to take it for a spin. I'd absolutely love to...

And FTX allows me to hang around with them and ask TONS of questions. I owe them! LOL

matty - No, haven't figured out single pipe yet. But he hasn't given up! Yup, wet pipe that weighs to much and they definitely want it replaced!

I wish it had a double seat so Robby could take me for a spin.... whoohooo would be an understatement!!!! :beer;

ahhh the good old days!!!!!!!

i sure miss my old flattbottom...had it for ten years ran it hard as a ski boat and was king of the lake.."WA and sammamish" most days... only thing that kicked snowmobiling for adrenaline rush....weeehaaaa

one ride and most of my friends would NOT get back in it!!!

raced it in three different outlaw events ...got two first place trophies...

got rpm??? witha v- drive..= see ya

jet boats suck....lmao
 
do you have any pics of the big block blown alcohol hydros that were running there too???

the best class to watch at these events is the blown hydros or my favorite witch you do not see any more....

Matty, dry pipe and manifold are built but untested as yet...soon.The wet pipe/manifold just isn't durable enough for how brutal we are being with it(see below)

We had a great day Saturday....Sunday was a break-fest, Robbie got chopped by two roosts in the first corner which led to a sweet flat spin, then broke the carburetor input shaft and the inner wall of the exhaust manifold...which led to a motor full of water-while catching up from the spin out! All that and still finished the race!
