fast idle

need a little helpon what to check , problem is on a 2012 rmk 800 I purchaced from a lodge in wyoming it was a rental,rode it out there a little while and it ran great , got it home took it to the carwash then home to clean up ,when I started it today it idles really fast varies between 2800 and 3500 warmed up to about 100 degress with no improvement, while doing a compresion check I did notice a almost sqealling noise apeared to come from exuast , not sure if the two things are related. compression is 125 psi on both cylinders, not sure if washing under the hood did something like got water into something or possibly disconnected something from the water pressure,any ideas?thanks in advance

pressure washer? Disconnect the TPS plug, see if its wet. I load mine up with dielectric grease, they don't work when wet.

is the tps plug on the left side or right side ? I did see a bundle of connections wraped in a velcro sealed cover on the left side . thanks goinboardin I'll check it out

TPS plug is behind the secondary clutch, I'd say your problem is it has moisture in it, been there done that...
