Still working on details as my buddy is still asleep.
Should be up at the gate between 12:00-12:30.
If anyone else wants to go, let me know.
I will be by a puter till 10:30, call after that.

At 5?
We may still be up on the hill... Will be riding north towards weber canyon.
I will be on a M1000 with no hood, and my buddy will either be on his rev or XRS.

post a report... im still trying to find time to get up there... damn my busy life... :mad:

Haha jed... Don't worry, when sledding is all done I will post up all my pics from the season.
Kinda hard to do with no home pc:p

We headed north, and lets just say that I wish I would have put my stock skis on:eek:
I was careful not to catch a stump on my ported track too.
We had to go south, then climb up to the road and over by the shed and drop in the east side to make our way over.
Made it all the way over to the bowls by peterson.
Snow was as to be expected, but was pretty smooth... There was a hint or powder that looked like it got rained on.
Over all a very fun day... Snow was not as soft as we would have expected, the clouds kept the sun away most the time and it was windy on the peaks.
Snow was robbing power on the stalkers big time, but we could climb almost anything we wanted... This was even more aparent after we met up with Shain stanger and Lyle Sinden I beleive is his name.
Those turbos flat rip!:eek:
Be sure to tell your customer his sled runs real good shain;) best running turbo I have ridden.
Thanks again for the test ride! And offer of:beer;
We met up and rode with a couple other snowesters... Turbofreak? I beleive... Good guys!
We had a great ride and pulled a few good lines.
We rode another hour after shain, lyle, and turbofreak left.
We even saw 2 lines up the chutes on the west side up to the towers!
I wonder who that could have been:D
Only a week or so left, and you will have to ride towards grandview or ride lots of dirt and rocks!
Last time I met shain he was on an 1150, so that tells you how long ago that was.
He is a very helpful, all in all great guy:beer; If or when I decide to turbo, he will be getting my business!

NROBINSON, I assume that was your dodge with the stacks?

Ya it was mine. We went back over to the beaver ponds and over to avalanche bowl and tree bowl. Like you said we could climb anything. Pulled some good chutes up avalanche and at the beaver ponds. I was wonderin where you guys went cause we didnt see or hear anyone. What truck was yours?

My truck was the lifted charcoal grey F-350 crew cab with stock tires:mad:
I assume you guys had a good ride?
Its probably been 10 years since I rode to the south.
May not get a chance this year, but next year I want to ride that area more.
When there is enough snow, we usually ride up from peterson.
Mike

Ya we had a great ride. We usually ride to the south just cause there is more to ride but a few times a year we head up to the towers and someone always ends up climbin em if the snow conditions are good. A few years ago my buddy ran his cows over in mountain green and he had a key to the gate and we rode over from that way a few times but snobasin bought that out i belive. We will have to meet up and go ridin some time, not sure if it will be this year, alot melted just from when we went sunday to yesterday.

went up farmington today it was a good ride for this late in the year. ran into some guys on fan sleds that ran well it was hard to beleive. the road up from the gate is getting pretty bare:beer;
