Far from a boring day!

For once I had far more "oops" kind of pictures on my camera than riding pics! HOLY.... lol

It started with a race up I90 with all the crazy car drivers... all to get "first tracks".

Pull into the parking lot to fight for a parking spot, but got it! Luckily (or not) Brent's sled was broke and he was borrowing Steve's M8, which was on Karen's truck and so we just had my truck with sled in the bed.. ie easy to find parking for! ;)

Day starts with 4z being broke ON the trailer...

1st stuck of the day happens on the trail up... as we are stopping to see why Steve's sled isn't working well. Servo motor is going out so it was going to be a long day for Brent.

Went directly into Baker Lake to play for a bit. Everyone is swapping sleds and having a good time... and Roger loses control...

After Baker is torn up we head to President's bowl. Lynn finds a tree, but for whatever reason I didn't take a picture. Brent got bucked off Naomi, no pic. :( But I did get a picture of Rich in a hole..

Lee tipped over...

We decide to head out of Presidents and the visability is less than desirable. The climb out has a nice cornice that needs to be busted through to get out. Lynn goes out, Lee is next... and his sled comes over backwards and rolls... Luckily he's as big as his sled and gets it stopped!

Greg goes out. I go, I make it out, but need help getting past the tree. We become the Jackson Hole Hill Help... Here comes Tami, it's her first year riding. She gets with in 30' of the top and says nope, and makes a perfect turnout. She gets down in the trees and Greg does a front forward flip to go save her, rides hte little 600 out and Tami walks up. Next is Rich. He hits the lip of the cornice and wheelies up, let's go. We turn his sled around and in doing so it starts to roll! (WHY do I not haave my camera out??) Greg is holding on like a champ and goes down with the sled, into a tree. But thanks to the Ballistic Bumper... no damage! Since Greg is down with the sled (100'+) he rides it down (Rich is still at the top) and back up.

Here comes Karen, she makes it out, but also has issues with the tree...

By now, we've beaten a track so that the bad running M8 could make it.

We head to Skate Park to play. In a matter of 5 minutes I find Brandon in 3 different trees... but again, no pics. (??) Greg goes up and hits a tree getting stuck....

Tami starts to practice her sidehilling and has many great turn outs... a few oops...

Roger takes on a tree (somehow I missed this pic?).......... but then promptly goes up and over, then does a nice gracefull downhill carve.

Greg goes up and goes off this rock, NICE!

Then to end the day.......... Roger and Karen go play in the trees and we find them a while later...........

For the record, I rode Karen's M8 several times and had a blast on it.

Got to ride CG's D7, Vinee's D7, and rmkueen's D6 (which rips for a 600) Karen's M8, Gregs M1000 mod, and Yamamauler's S/C Apex. All are great chassis, M chassis is pretty fun to ride, but of all the sleds I rode on Sunday I preferred the Dragon chassis. It just flat out works for me.

Of course, I wouldn't trade any of them for my Nytro!! :D

Great time riding with everyone (haven't seen W8TN4U stuck so many times in all our rides combined!!)...had some sun breaks mixed in to tease us...then of course it cleared up, not a cloud in the sky as we're driving down the mountain!! Oh well.

Yup, that was Sunday! Where you up there on your new baby? :D

EW, you are funny.... you are always welcome in our group! :p I'd like to see the wheelies though. :D

Gtg

You people actually get stuck...? ?

Dang, I thought H20SKE held a patent on that..:o

Just shows that I am like Avis--"trying harder":D

I am going to start taking pictures like Fordman and Graveler--proof of everyone elses stucks;) Mine always make headlines--because--when I get stuck--it is STUCK!!:)

PS--That is not Presidents bowl. Nice pictures--Looked like a great day to tear it up.
