Fan kit for the clutch bay for 2/4 strokes

Many people have been waiting for a fan kit to help cool the clutches down, This fan kit will mount to the clutch guard and cool the clutches really well.
It would work better with my Heat shield for behind the clutches to block the engine and exhaust heat, It is mean't to work with a frogskins vent right above it on the side cover.
here is a picture of the heat shield and fan, the fan will run on any 12 volt power, it don't have to come right from the battery.
knee vents will be recomended

The kit will come with 1 frogskins vent to put on right above the fan on the side panel like the one in the picture or just might be 2 slp vents, water and dust proof fan, 2 frogskins knee vents but I might just use the small knee vents that are square and down the bottem of the panel so they don't take up that much room for knee pads, engine heat shield block off plate, the one showed in the picture is one on the 2 stroke but looks pretty much the same for the 4 strokes.

There will be a few different combo kits to buy, you don't have to buy the whole kit the way I describe it.

Thanks
Frank

So we have to cut up our side panel? Makes it tough for guys with $400 wraps ... Is there an option to mount in the shock tower or knee vent area?

The only problem with that location IMO is that spot is always covered with snow and ice. IMO I think it should some how be vented out the knee vent. It won't blow on the clutches but it will bring cold air in and remove the hot air.

the main vent needed is the one by the side panel attachment pin, you have to bring in cold air to push to the primary

does it suck or blow?
blows and there will be a air deverta around it to grab cold air right above it so it don't get heat from the top from the engine compartment and i tested it both ways so it does both, this fan is water and dust proof

Its going to have a shroud around the fan so it only gets air from the vent from the out side.

I thought you mountain sledders have it all sealed up from snow getting in there now?

I decided to make a air duct to go from the clutch air induction port on the side panel so it gets ram air from the outside but you have to have the frogskin on that vent inlet

awesome i was trying to do this a while back with a couple thermaltake fans at the start of last year..

was wondering why someone didnt attempt that yet its seems light enough and doesnt take up much on the 12v rail.

nice work!

I was thinking about doing the same when I had seen these fans in a different post, very interested. I like the idea of air induction port to the fan. I might try this versus totally vented sides. No issue with current draw?

do you have more photos?
Photos sell!

How much for the Fan and your shroud?
How much for the clutch guard?

I want one!:face-icon-small-coo
pricing comes different ways, the whole kit or different pieces, working on the kit price.

just the belt guard is $119.95
