Falls on it face

I had a few det codes on the first ride so the next ride switched to etho plug and it still went into det so I loosened the sensor and tried it again . Than the engine light came on. So I checked code it was a egt sensor . Took the one out of my 700 dragon and tried it again. Light went out Yea but it still falls on it face above 6500 rpm and if you hold it there it paulses and still goes into det once in awhaile. Plugs look good.
Any Ideas ?

have you checked your power valves?
can you barrow a buddys gas tank from a 2011/2012 pro or assult and try it that will eliminate a fuel pump issue.
have you done your fuel filter or at least checked it?

I just rebuilt the top end and cleaned the power valves but I am going to check them all the same. I was thinking fuel pump but it runs great until it hit 6500 rpm. New springs in clutch also .
I am lost, have checked wires and changed plugs .

I believe 6500 rpm is when power valves open. Did a hose come loose, or is the solenoid not closing and always venting pressure to atmosphere?

Do you have a torn bellows?

Put the sled on a track stand and rev it up and look to see if both power valves are opening.

Same

Mine was hitting det sensor yesterday a couple times while pinned. I was running a power addiction dome and didn't think I had to run race gas at 11k ft.
Needless to say, It locked up on me!!

Are you hitting rev limiter ? They will go into det mode in midrange real quick if you hit it. Maybe with new top end and clutch springs it is enough to hit rev limit. Maybe try heavier weights to see if it still does it to rule that out. Can also use playback mode on tach to see what max rpm's are also, it does not take much to throw it into det mode.

ok when your in the power valves today take out plugs. move one piston all the way to the bottom shine a light in the spark plug hole and look inside the poer valve opening in the top corner of it you will see a cone shaped hole you should see light through the little hole if not thats where the problem is. do the same on the other side piston all teh way done ad do the same as prevoious side.

if you cant see light grab a small drill bit and with your hand clean the gunk out with it.. repete as needed.

also dont forget to clean the power valve solinoid and the hoses as well..

I will check the holes but these cylinders just came back from millennium reniked and welded and I sprayed out with brake clean than washed with hot soapy water.

Well valves are in good shape the holes are clean . I talked to Shawn at MNTek and he said to check fuel pressure and if that is good it is probably a tps switch.
I learned today that they have having quit a few issues with them due to the way they are installed with the wires pointing up and are getting moisture in them poo decided to put a cover over them which made it worse (poo the new bandaid company ) oh and they raised the price on the tps to make up for it.
Has anyone changed their own tps switch, can we use the same tool that we used to check them in the dragons ?

having similar issues here........after rebuild my EV solenoid crapped..so the valves were not opening at 6300rpm........so it would fall on its face. and never exceed 7500.

After fixing that, deto issues occurring at light throttle, on icy trails.

Appears its over-revving and will need an additional 2-3 grams in the primary....wahoo!!...

Seeing 8400 before it goes into limp mode

Did you try plugging them off I would think they would still open . I just ordered a egt sensor and a tps switch now do I have to order a solenoid.
I was thinking mine was a tps but was hoping for something simple like a torn bellows .
