Just a friendly notice that it's that time of year again.
Sledders may want to know that,

Snowkiters will over take the Bigdrifts area at the top of Fairview canyon, starting this coming week,
and culmination next weekend with the main event .
It may be a good time to park at one of the other locations up Fairview for sledding.
Winding your sleds through kite lines, may not be worth the effort if you park at the top. But stop buy and watch and say 'hi'.

Hope you all have fun down... it's pretty cool to see all those canopies in the air.

My best days are,
hit the lot early, sled the fresh POW for hours on my XP,
then when the wind picks up,
kite until late afternoon,
then boondock back to the lot. yahoo....

The top of LAke Creek is my favorite.

Just a questions about the still picture. There are 15 people and only 10 kites. One of the guys kites would be out of the shot but still why 14 people and only 10 kites?

If you follow the lines, you notice the kites are out of the frame.
Lines are usually between 25 to 30 meters long, or like 100'

Check out these guys "gliding" at Skyline. WOW
