Once again it is the 6th Annual Snowkite Masters this weekend up Fairview canyon.
Kiters from all around the world will be all over the place on top, it may be a good weekend to sled somewhere else.
The non local kiters leave kite lines laying all over the place, some are even white and you can't see them until they are wrapped up in your track.

I dont ride there but that is a good warning. That would suck to try to get a couple of those kite lines unstuck from the track.

I guess I should mention that a lot of kiters are already in town.
The hills should have lots of kiter's around.

Strawberry is a popular spot also.

I plan on sledding up Lake Creek and kiting Tues.

I'm really only gonna post this to keep it at the top,
Here is a couple of photos from Tuesday at the top of Pass Creek.

You can find info at Utah windriders. Actually there is no shortage of info for kiting available with a simple google search. Kiting, kiteboarding, snowkiting, snow kiting, kitesurfing, kitesurfing, all interchangeable terms.
For utah, try

Now if I could just get Marty to help me figure out how to get my equipment into the kite areas without bashing my sled to death.

Where who what would I have to do to try kiting one day>? Is there a website?

Thursday thru Sunday at Skyline is the main event. There will be sponsors and clinics, some should be free. Public participation is welcome. I am not a promoter, just a sledder and kiter always interested in getting more people into kiting. You can do it year round on water, snow, and land. Just depends on what you put on your feet.
