factory lefty?

I was thinking about how aftermarket lefty's freeze-up or stick so often. I know you can lube them but you still hear of them sticking, got me thinking of trying to run a stock (factory) type throttle on the left side. Maybe way off base here ? seem to have much less issue w/these freezing. Thought of the cables running down to the bulkhead to some type of yoke (pivot block?) just thoughts anyone ever heard of any thing like this ?

My uncle stated making lefties for his sled and the i made four of them frida night for some people we ride with. instead of spending $100 for one we spent $25 at the local bike shop to get a bike brake with a hinge onthe bracket. with a little bit of grinding and 20 minutes of your time you can spend $25 and ours work fine. no seizing or anything. as a matter of fact i used it last night. i can get pics if interested. :beer;
