fab running boards and tunnel ext. (flatlander style)

Doing this for a friend who just got this sled for next to nothing, so now its time to make it kinda cool. Sled is a 09 shift 600 121" Going 144" with some 1 off garage built parts. :face-icon-small-sho
1st thing 1st. Need to keep the snow from building up on these sorry stock running boards.

Next is the tunnel extension/gas rack. He also wanted to cut the back of the running boards off to try and keep the snow from building up at the ends.
This is the ext. fresh off the plasma table

The rack and bumper extension were built as 1 piece.

These lil bastards took way longer than they needed to...

I didnt get any pics during the install, it was dumping out and we wanted to get it done. Being from PA we need to be ready to ride when the snow comes. This is pretty much ready to ride. He was going to take care of wiring the the tail light. The wiring and cover were just temp. It is NOT how the sled was finished it was just a idea.
