F350 with a flat bed/sled deck???

Hey all, I have an 07 F350 CC, SB, SRW that i have been thinking about putting a flat bed on, and just putting the pick up bed in my shop. The main reason is to be able to carry 2 sleds on the truck instead of pulling my 5 place trailer when i drive alone or with 1 other person in the truck. My problem is that I have always thought a flat bed on a SRW truck would look like crap. I want to get a flat bed because it will be easier to get tools and attachments on and off the tuck if it has a flat bed. Does anyone here have a sled deck or flatbed on a SRW truck? Could you post pics of your setup?

Thanks.

Look in the pictures of rigs in the truck and trailers forum. There is a lot of pickups with srw and flatbeds. Post pictures when your done. Good luck man!!

We have been manufacturing decks for the last 16 years and now offer a fully anodized, interlocking extruded aluminum truck deck that fully seals your truck box like a tonneau cover and fits any full size truck 6', 7', and 8'. Check out our website www.truckbossdecks.com

There are a lot of SRW trucks with flat beds. I'm planning on selling my sled deck and doing that to my next truck.

Silverlake (Motomikey on here) makes a SWEET deck for both SRW and DRW trucks that has fold down sides.

I'm going multi-use on mine...goose neck, sled deck, ATV deck. No more yanking the deck in and out a couple times a year.

Love my flatbed setup. It's a Bradford Built. Pretty poor paint job on the older ones. It's got a ton of surface rust. They make them in aluminum now, with a built in ramp. I'm sure Motomikey's are smooth, too.

That's what I was thinking about doing. I like that set up. I have a 4 place inline trailer, but would like to have a flat bed for and option to carry a sled or 2. I would be looking to do an aluminum one.

I've been wondering since the beginning how the beds with RV cuts on the corners will still be able to support a ramp.

I'm hoping Mikey can stop by and answer that one.

Does anybody make a sled deck where you can put 3 sleds on it? I was thinking split the 2 on top and put the 3rd up backwards and have the front of that sled sitting on some kind of extended beavertail.

I've seen it done on our decks with snowmobile extensions, you have to keep your GVWR, local traffic laws and the dangerous loading methods in mind. We strongly advise against this method but we aren't our customers mothers

I have seen guys fab up a cab-over set up and haul four sleds on a dually 4x4. They tied into the front of the frame horns for support. Functional but kinda goofy looking.
