Anyone running one on a 1000? Did a search but zero results. Think this is my next mod.

So most all of the AC Mod winners at Jackson Hole ran EZRYDE and no one here did??? Hard to beleive!!

Big Cat I'd like to see some feedback on this also. I'm also looking at options for my 09 M8 162. Anyone out there running an ez-ride please list Pros and cons, cost and whether you would do it again.

Agreed with above, Just check the Jackson hole results!

All the Arctic Cat Top Guns won while using an EZ-Ryde Suspension

e-z ryde is a good rear end, i liked it a lot...rebuilds of the bushings occur at about the 800 mile point....money is relative....another alternative is to use zero pros front and rear and use the rcs ti springs as developed by bret rasmussen, excellent trail and boon docker setup, that is quite a bit less than the ezryde....if you're doing a lot of crap trails, i'd do the ezryde...jackson is nothing more than super crap trails on a steep hill....because i mostly try to avoid both, the ti setup seems better to me for most riding, gives a good trail ride in marginal grooming and has good bump control the rest of the time..:face-icon-small-hap

i have 2 rides in on mine, and i friggin love it. i haven't even played around with the settings yet because it is such an improvement over my stock 05 m7 153 skid already. on the bumpy trail, the rear end doesn't buck, and the front end doesn't bounce and lift. the entire sled just stays parallel with the ground as you bump along. it soaks up a lot of the shock as well. i find it much easier to sit down over sections i would have rather stood up on in the past. good for the ride home. i'd recommend it to anyone with a bad back.

seems to work well in the powder, but i couldn't tell you which made more of an improvement, the ez-ryde or the powerclaw. both are new this season. however, the balance points feel much different when tossing the sled side to side and carving hard. seems like the sled requires less input to make it do the same job as before. it is taking some getting used to.

i havn't got to do any serious hill climbs yet, but i expect that the stability i'm getting on the trail is going to transfer right over to the steep stuff. all i need is a weekend with clear skies, or at least just enough visability to get to the steeps, and i should be able to finish up my report.

yup, the price is up there. but for me, i was at a point where i either bought a new sled, or totally overhauled the one i have. i went with the overhaul, and the ez-ryde was part of it. i spent much less money on the entire overhaul than it would have been for a new sled, and i'm betting that once i put on the finishing touches (hehe), it is going to out-perform the new sleds in every way except reverse.

edit: oh, and i forgot to mention that the install was a piece of cake! i'll say that it definitely took some time to install the mounting brackets, but it was all just drilling and riviting. no problem. the template that comes with the skid perfectly aligns the new mounting holes. getting the skid to bolt in was in fact much easier compared to getting the stock skid back into place (had it out twice in the past). the install instructions posted on the website could use some updating, but christian was very prompt at answering the one or two questions i had, via email.
