EZ Ryde Apex

I have a 06 no boost Apex that I recently got the EZ Ryde and Extreme Challenger track, they set it for my weight, 190, with the front shock with no preload, I rode it in some decent deep snow and it went real good and rode smooth on the trail. I wanted to get a lighter feeling front so I tightened the front shock preload almost a inch, I rode it on some crappy/crusty snow and the front didn't feel lighter and it rode like a teeter/todder on the trail. Did I go to far with the preload or what. I'd call Dustin but they're closed, and its good to get other feedback.

I just got through setting up my t apex's ez ryde. an inch adjust sounds extreme. i'm 310# and only moved the adjusting nut a quarter inch at a time. Check the tightness on the rod cap of that front shock while yer in there . mine backed of and spilled its vital fluids all over my deck 1 day.

If you want a lighter front end you need to locate the front mount location down to the next hole in the brackets supplied or move it down 1/2 ".The mounting location is key to the ski pressure U desire, same concept as loosining your limiter straps for more weight transfer and less ski pressure.Hope this helps
