Here is a quick diagram. If you want to put a switch in for always on. Just put the switch inline. single pole single throw toggle. When it is off it will allow you to use the button like was intended and when it is on the wires will be jumpered for always on operation. This is how I plan to do mine. I don't need ot run down the trail with the rapid response on.
If you just want to jump the wires that is easy just wire them together. Though i would not reccomend this.
