Ez-jacker hp gains..........

So im trying to figure out how much hp gain you will get out of having the ez-jacker and can. Ive been told i would only see a 20 hp gain, but boondocker claims it will make 220hp. Ive also been told with clutching i could be around the 240hp mark. So im stumped right now will i be riding a sled with 200hp, 220hp, or 240hp. To me if 20 hp is all you gain and have to spend $1,000 to get that its a waist of money. So if someone has some solid info on what hp gains are that would be great. Thanks

I think the EZ-jacker may be the 20hp gain. The HY-jacker will have different hp gains.I have a HY-jacker and it goes from stock to 280hp with GOOD fuel or meth injection.

Tar.

I think they say 200 hp with the stock muffler. With a highflow such as the D&D barker I think they are claiming 220hp. With the button pushed on the rapid response it should be in the 230 range with a high flow muffler.

That is what glenn hall of d&d has been claiming.

Ive seen some guys talking on here about putting the button on a switch so its always on. Does that mean if a person were to do that it would have 230ish all the time. Also will that hurt anything in the long run by having it on all the time?

I wouldn't think so. Glenn Hall(d&d test pilot). Said that the turbo is the limiting factor at higher elevation. That the turbo just won't make more boost I think. I sent him a email about this exact question and I hope to here back from him soon.

This is what I have heard as well, I wouldnt spend the money on the EZ jacker. I did the BMP turbo outlet, tubes and Muffler and I believe that it out performs the barker and ezjacker..

You do realize that if you add the ezjacker on top of what you done there will be more gains.

The remaps and addon controllers all seem to be advertised around drag strip and low elevation performance. Does anyone actually know:

With and without a high flow exhaust what are the HP gains at 10,000 feet for any of the ECU remaps or add on controllers.

Based on people not advertising numbers I bet that you get maybe only an extra 20hp at 10,000 feet with any of the plug and play systems, using 91 octane of course. If you could get more with the stock turbo folks would be singing about it.

well, my sled (EZ Jacker, minus 25 lbs., M1100T) versus a Nytro MCX 180 HP kit @ 9000 feet....they are pretty close to head to head...

Two issues, clutching, and Helix angles are playing a large role...biggest being clutching....However, even with perfectly matched clutching, we are not going to see the same hole shots as a Nytro...they just pull hard!!! Have had both sleds...ran 10-12 PSI in my Nytro...it pulled harder...

The throttle response on my Nytro was INSTANT, the M1100T takes about 1-2 seconds to pull hard...

have a lightweight can, will be throwing it on...but needed to take sled into dealer to do all the warranty and recall stuff...will report back next week with the results of head to heads with cans...but 220-240 is not really reality IMHO...

One of my friends has a turboed Nytro to he's guessing he's rt at 200hp and him and I have races on a good climb and even though we started single file I let him out in front of me and with in 50 yards a was going by him.. Ended up at the top I was a good 6 to 7 sleds on him.. I ride with a race gas M-8 Cutlers kit almost every time out and at 11 to 12 lb him and I are neck and neck most ever time!! I love my 1100 it took some getting use to but now WOW! P.S. I won't race any of these guys unless we have a rolling start the 1100 doesn't like to get out of the hole as quik!
