Just bought the EZ 1.9 suppose to be 220hp just wondering what comes in the clutches for stock weight and any recommendations for new weights. Anyone tried this 1.9 does it work well and give a real 220hp? Thanks!

Stock weight is 85 grams.

You won't need different weights.

Yes I have tried it.

No it doesn't work well.

171 real HP.

All it did for me was add more wires and weight. I did not feel any power gain what so ever. Now if you were gona ride at sea leve it might add a little but for elevation it's a waist of money.

How much better does the 2.0 box work than the 1.9? I was out last winter with a guy that had the 2.0 and he was saying his buddies sled with the 1.9 went better than his. All i know is his sled went a hell of a lot better than mine

Maybe you should have asked how it works before you bought

Depending on whether he got an early version of software in the 2.0 will depend on how well it works. Early software was worse than stock. Both units have an anti-lag button that mountain guys will just wire to be on all the time, or some put it on a switch. The higher you go with either one the less effective they are. For guys that are competent tuners and familiar with the BD boxes the 2.0 allows you to adjust the fuel amounts that can clean up some richness at certain parts of the rpm range. I would say in the 7-8000' range you are getting maybe another 20hp and the stock turbo is tapping out regardless of which one you use.
The only real gains with the stock turbo left intact is with a reflash that then can adjust timing and other parameters. Evo's reflash also addresses the elevation compensation tables in the stock programming and was specifically tuned for the mountain rider keeping the power consistant until the stock turbo is yelling at you.:crutch:

Sorry to post late on the subject, if you have already installed the 1.9 i hope it is working well. I installed mine last year on my m1100t and mine worked great. Plug in play is the way i like it. But... i found that its not all ran on pump fuel. My knock sensor was going off on long pulls (low octane light). 2 gallons of 100LL every tank solved that problem. Another thing i did was gave my sled more air with a cold air intake, feed it the air it needs and scrap the stock filter. 18 lbs of boost and she runs good. After reading other posts on the subject it sounds like i may have gotten lucky on mine.

1.9

i got lucky too .my 1.9 was running all over my buddys nytro 180 kit,he had to keep turning it up.we ll see what it does this year hes cranking it up even more but i m going to the 215 flash so could be interesting.lol had to run some av in mine to to stop the octane light from coming on as well.
