Extra Motor Mount

I just bought a ovs used ovs turbo kit. Iwas wondering how many recommend running a extra engine mount or leave it stock

Add as many motor mounts as you can !

yes it needs it , I use a motor mount and a tourqe stop. 180
and if its older than 2010 then we also cut the secondary.

Ita a 08 and what do u mean cut the secondary

machine the back of the secondary so the clutch can be moved further in for belt alignment.

I second the extra motor mounts. my piped thousand eats a belt ever 200 miles. put boost it and thats just a pile more torquing the motor around

You can also update your stock mounts to the cat 50 durometer mounts part # 0608-405.

Wildchild does that help alot or would it be better to just pust in the extra mount and torque stop.I don,t want any problems when I boost my sled

yes and exchanging for harder duros in the wrong places makes the sled vibrate bad.

I Never noticed much more vibration of the harder mounts. Only put maybe 2-300 miles on with them so no idea if they will tear up the chassis.

Product Tester - Do you recommend the extra mount or machining the secondary on the 800's too, or just the 1000's?

My brother and I have had issues w/belt life on our '07 M8T's...

Definitely get the extra mounts. The sled will vibrate more at idle, but on a 1000 what is a little MORE vibration anyway?!
