Extra airbag? - Avy Survival

Well after having the thought of oxygen supply if burried, i had another idea pop into my head.

What if you add another airbag to your bag, just set it up connected to the same trigger or to another pull trigger.

I see the benifit of having it connected on its own system, if system A no worky, system B is there, drawing from a seperate air cylinder.

You would be taking 150L of bouyancy (float 30) to say 250-300L of bouyancy. My understanding more bouyancy the better you float on top.

Just sew another bag onto the back of the pack in its own pocket, put a 100-150L bag in this pouch, and run a trigger setup same as whats on todays avy packs.. to your shoulder/ wherever you want.

Ast courses aside for the purpose of discussion. Lets just focus on the idea itself.

What are your guys thoughts?

Am i crazy just spinning my wheels :face-icon-small-con, to much time on my hands, needing to get out and ride

Well if you need oxygen then that's what an avalung is for! Heard they work!

Good luck getting the hose for the avalung in your mouth while wearing a helmet.

As for the second air bag, it would be a good idea. The more boyancy, the better IMO. Probably be pricey tho. But if you think about it, parachutes have a second chute in case the first one fails.
