External fuel pump issues

Running a PL kit with the piggy back external electric fuel pump.
Lately it does not allways come on when you turn the key.
The sled will still start & after running for a while the pump will kick in.
It usually does this when not running for a while.
Bad conx or?????????
Just looking to see if anyone else had a similar issue so i can cut down my exploratory surgery time.
I would hate for it to kick out while doing a full throttle blast!!!!!

check ur relay turn the key on if its making a clicking sound its working check the voltage going to ur fuel pump should be 12v could be ur fuel pump acting up

check your connection to the key power wire.. make sure it is not green and corroded, if it is cut as much out solder a new wire and use heat shrink so moisture cant get in. also check ground to make sure it has not came loose.

trouble shooting

When you mounted your intercooler where did you place the factory wiring harness originally in the nose cone with 4 relays on it? If these get wet and green weird stuff happens. One is for the fuel pump, one for the headlight, and the other two are things I can't remember. If these are low and get pounded with snow you will have problems as I did. I replaced then relocated these behind the intercooler as high as I could. No problems since.
