Extending the Wiring on a 1M

Forgive me if this is already posted in the 1M Forum; however, I couldn't find it ...

I'm trying to get the sled back together for a trip in a couple days and don't have a ton of time.

I just put in a Wildchild forward mount post with 3" extension on my 1M. Then I added 4" more with RSI risers on the stock handlebars. I'm 6'7". I extended the throttle and brake lines. However, this wiring looks like a real mess. Does anyone make a wiring jump kit? Since steering post extensions and risers are so popular, I would think someone would sell a jump kit to plug the existing plugs into, maybe not. Is the only choice to solder 20+ wires (40+ solders in all)?

Thanks a lot for any comments,
OldIron

butt splices and a crimper are way easier than soldering or even the crimps that you use on trailer wires that you crimp with a plier and the blade cuts into the wire, prolly be a good idea to heat shrink it to

are your sure you need to get a wiring kit for your handlebars? I raised mine 7" and just a little rerouting by the airbox and no rewiring at all....I couldnt believe it but its a fact my new CrMo post is a forward mount just barely shy of 7" taller.

if you are that tall dude more height ROCKS! I'm 6'5" and while standing I want just a bit more.

I also do custom seats I dont have any right now but in a few weeks, check my post on here under the 1M section titles "finally got her going" or something lose to that.

good luck!
