Extending Ascender 141" to 153" ?

Is it feasible to extend the Ascender 141" chassis to 153" ? I live in the northeast and purchased a 2018 M600 141" presuming it was built on the 153" chassis similar to the High Country's but I was wrong. The snowdepths in Gaspe Quebec last week made me choose to ride my 2014 153" High Country but I would have rather been on the Ascender chassis !

I've made a parts list to include 153" rear tunnel, rivets, 153" rails/slides, 153" x 2.6" Power Claw track and 153" aftermarket bumper. Finding an M 153" here in the northeast without snowchecking a new order is easier-said-than-done and Arctic Cat dealers locally are few-and-far-between with any familiarity with mountain sleds.

Any thoughts would be appreciated !

You are correct with your parts list to do the swap. For the rivets be sure to get the OEM Gold colored rivets for the 4 forward rivets on each side at the bumper. They are heavy duty rivets and add strength for the drop brackets.
If you don't already have one, you may want to pick up or borrow an air powered rivet gun as the Gold rivets are REALLY tight to pull by hand!

Thanks for the confirmation ! When I've replaced bumpers in the past I've changed out the 4 huck-rivets for 4 bolts and nylok-nuts. AND I invested in a pnuematic rivet gun !

...I've also considered lengthening the skid and track initially and removing the snowflap ?

I probably would lengthen the tunnel at the same time. Some guys have been able to get away without running a snow flap, but I know that I never will be able to remove it without the sled overheating. The snow flap deflects the roost back to the track where it can be carried to the heat exchanger for engine cooling.
I suspect that a huge factor in whether or not you can run without a snow flap is what snow conditions you typically ride in as well.

I would be interested in your 141” track if it’s a 2.6” lug
