Extending 700 RMK 144 to 159 or 151

I am struggling with the decision...

I have already geared down to 19/42, so I am not worried too much about the gearing. My concern is how much more does it take to turn the 159 vs the 151? I have SLP single and can, airbox mod and vent, modified clutching and a few other mods.

Currently, I am looking at getting the tracksusa.com rail extensions, then the SLP tunnel extension if I get a 159. I am looking at the series 4 tracks, fully clipped. Otherwise a 151 is pretty much a bolt on addition.

I am looking to see if anyone has put the 159 on their 700. What was your experience?

Thanks in advance,

Benthos

best bang for the buck is to do anti ratchets too.

I went from 151 to 162 and it was great. I have an '04 700 that rarely gets rode and when it does a buddy is on it. The sled has SLP single, SLP intake and clutching. It runs great! After a deep powder day with another 700 with the same motor setup and a 162 track, I had to change it up. The stock 2 incher in the 151 wouldn't get anywhere close to the 162. I put in a 162 Challenger 2.25"/3" pitch (had it in the garage) and put on some anti ratchet drivers (7 tooth) and anti stab kit. This setup works really good in the deep snow.

Tunnel extension.

Doesn't Tracks USA make that extension? I sure like the quality of theirs. I've used them on 121 to 136 and now a 121 to 144.

Tracks USA makes the rail extensions, but they don't make a tunnel extension for the Edge Chassis. So, I got the SLP one coming.

The rail extensions are nice and well made. I was impressed.
