explain lean bog to me please

Was just reading another thread and the term lean bog came up....both my sleds bog...worse on colder days....
if you look at my other thread on 700 engine knock...my motor is now out as pistons are scored......is this from lean bog?

Normaly you get a bog when you are to ritch, a cold bog could be from the motor seaseing up .A 4 corner score is eather a cold sease or a lean sease .To be lean enough to bog would have to be very lean,should backfire through the carbs at the same time it bogs. This should not happen at all on 09 sleds.

Generally (not always) bog=lean

not saying that's the cause of the piston scoring but possibly

My 2007 D7, LEAN from the factory in the mid-range

Now 5-10% RICHER in the mid-range with the PC-3 and runs nicely
