WOW!!!! Rode my X0 Exit fronts shocks Sat/Sun for the first time on my '09 Dragon 163. These things are sweet. Have them in my rear skid as well. Thank you Curt at Fastrax. If you want shocks that work, these are the ones. Give Curt a call.:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap

Did you pull your sway bar out?

Gerrman I know you were selling a set of float 2's, so im guessing you were running those before, how do you compare the ride and performance of the fox's compared to the exits?

when you order exit shock they (zbroz) builds the shock specifically for you, including valving and springs to your sled, front end width, style of ring. the shocks are specifically built to work without the sway bar

Now I only rode the Exits for the first time this weekend. They handled the bumps on the trail much better than the Floats. A very fluid feel through he handle bars. Hands and lower arms are not being jarred as much. Able to ease off on your hand grip pressure at times if you want. Rolling the sled over for turning and craving in snow was a little easier. Then again it is anyways. The front suspension gave a progressive soft yet firm feel through the bars and chassis when landing off of stuff. The Floats were a little firmer in their stroke. The WE's gave the same feeling as the Floats more or else. Some refer to this as the Airbag effect. Don't get me wrong, Fox makes a great product and there are thousands of Float shocks out there. I think for myself, I made the right choice in the Exits for the feel I was looking for. Again I would like to thank Curt from Fastrax for his answers to my questions and input into my shock choice. So you know, this is the first time I have ever purchased custom valved and sprung shocks. Now I wish I had done so on a few of my other sleds.:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap

X0 = no clicker
X1 = clicker (compression dampening)

x2 on the shocks Gerrman. I ordered a set of X1 ski and track shocks for my Assault from Curt at Fastrax too. What a fantatsic difference...the rear scissor setback that Curt recommended for my stock suspension helped as well. Altogether a great experience with Zbros/Fastrax and the sled rides like a Caddy instead of a lumber wagon.

So... no sway bar with these???!!!!

17.5" Center to center. The sway bar can be left in.. but is easy to remove and removing the sway bar is recommended for the Exit (premium) shocks. What type of riding do you do? The Exits are adjusable so you can crank them own if needed for your style of riding.

ahhhh, I have some non clicker ones comin from curt, I just couldnt remember the number....Thanks

Man..i wish i could get some EXITS...they are on the list but dont have the $$ for them...they are FAR SUPERIOR then any other shock on the market..

now...anyone with an09 sway bar setup they removed wanting to get rid of it ;)

Once you have ridden anything with custom valved shocks set up for you, you will never be happy with stock shocks again. The difference is amazing. Had Carls set me up with a set pf Fox's for my 96 ultra back when it was new. That was it. Never be happy with anything but a custom setup. Really very little $$$ too in the big picture of things. I don't mean your chioce of shock, but getting it setup for you. We have done all of our sleds since 96.

Mines a 08 D8. I ride mostly trees, boondocks, deep pow and limited bombed out trails. mostly 8000ft.+
5'11" 185 lbs.
my sled slumps to the left and would like to remove sway bar. WE shocks suck .

No wonder mine havent showed up, everyone else has ordered too.... :face-icon-small-dis

I was nervous about ordering the non-sway bar set up. I am glad it has worked out... gives me a warm fuzzy.
