Exit front skid shock install question

I have a 2019 summit 850 I am putting exit shocks on. When I went to mount the front skid shock to the upper mount the eye that bolts up next to the limiter strap is pressed hard against the strap. I can just get the bolt through to mount it. The shock is for a 17-18 and I am trying to put it on a 19. When I asked Zbroz what the difference between the year models was they said one of the bushings is a different size (which is the lower) and the reservoir is clocked at a different angle. I have a larger lower mounting shaft from a 17 so the different bushing size shouldn't be an issue. I bought the set up used and didn't realize there was a change from 18 to 19 so I'm trying to make it work... If you've installed this shock before on an 850 how did it fit the upper mount?

I had the same problem. I moved the limiter strap to the side like it is on the earlier summits and shock fit fine. There is a bracket for it on both sides on the upper arm.

Nice thanks!! I moved the strap over on top. Do you run it at an angle? I attached a picture of how mine looks moved over.

your ressie is on the wrong side, needs to be left side as sitting, pto side. ressie is clocked to lean back, not forward, it can get damaged

pic below is a trail skid, same deal though
