Exhaust valve relearn question

If you pull the exhaust valves out of the cylinder, disconnect it from the valve motor, yada yada. Re-install them in a different cylinder on the engine, hook it all back up.... Is it as simple as that or does it have to go to the dealer to get the valves reset?

dealing with a 6500 capped RPM issue and curious if that’s it

I sm quite sure you have to do a relearn

If you removed them from the rail or loosened the bolts, there is a EV guillotine alignment tool that must be used or they will hang up in the cylinder when hot. Also a relearn is in order.

Safe to assume only the dealer can do the relearn?
