SLP Perf kit - Lots of goodies.


My light starts flashing about a mile down the trail. I Stop it goes off.

Guess I need to count the flashes.

Any way to Test the Exhaust sensor ?

What will it harm to have it not working ? High failure on these ?

Are they really 120.00 bucks -------------

Yep you need to count the flashes, 5 is the exhaust sensor. I would carefully check the wiring / connectors before buying one.

You will lose performance,idle gets weird so reverse will stall..Had to check mine on Digital Wrench ( yeah a trip to dealer) But found mine was sllooowww to react. It never even flashed a light/code!! It is an ECU input for fuel trim.

yeh count them first..

then if its the exhaust sensor, carefully check all the wiring from the back (to what you can get to) you might have melted the wiring insulation or even broken a wire and its barely making contact..

but worse case...try babbittsonline.com also..

OK - Symptoms are there

Weird Idle, stall in reverse, seems to run OK. Flashing after 2 minutes.

Will chase wires, might see if Carls can check it for me.

Its well worth chasing wiring on these sleds, out of 3 electrical issues I had with codes, all were wiring related. Cheap cheap cheap to fix if you can solder.
If there's another 900 within your grasp you can swap sensors for testing to avoid the dealership charges.
