exhaust question

I have a 2006 duramax LBZ. I installed the Banks 4" Monster Exhaust (cat back) and now I want to eliminate the cat.

MBRP makes a cat delete pipe that is 4" in diameter. The Monster Exhaust system is reduced to 3.5" so it will connect to the stock exhaust system.

So, has anyone had to do this, or something similar? What's the best way to do it? Thanks.

Call MBRP and see if they can give you a measurement on the Front Pipe because sometimes they are a little longer, you might have enough room to cut the necked down pipe and attach it. Also note if the end of the Front Pipe measures 4" I.D. so your 4" system wil connect into it. If they both measure 4" O.D. you can go to any Heavy Duty Truck shop (ie..Kenworth, Peterbuilt) and get an exhaust coupler that measures 4" I.D. and is usually about 8" long that could give you the extra length you need.
