Exhaust probe color

Pulled the exhaust off of my sled today and noticed the exhaust probe is a nice brown color, usually it is black when I pull it out. Is it like spark plugs and the color you should always see or is there something wrong. Sled runs great, in the process of fixing some deer damage now and taking advantage of the down time to do some clutching.

Team black and white secondary spring with 719 helix, SLP blue and pink primary spring with 78 gram weights. Any input on the probe color?

Brown usually after high rpm ride,usually black but not oily. Have to have Digital Wrench to check function they like to "stick" in temp and screw everything up.
Almost an every other year replacement..
