I asked one of the members (INDEEP) here on the forum with a mod sled on how he did the wrap on an SLP single. It looked awesome.
He used Hi Tech header wrap and paint on the pipe and said he would not do it again. It was a pain in the butt to install and rather delicate and would only lasts 2 seasons (1 season of Mag's riding style) He did say it matters more on a turbo than a NA motor and he ordered the large hose clamps from Mcaster Carr.
Are ya still running a Turbo on it?

It was a new sled or a new truck.. the wife kinda made it hard for me cuz I was going for a Pro... The old truck was ten years old so we decided a new Pro next season..
Yup still running the turbo but I'll have the new 10 motor in it and 2 spare 09 motors on the shelf

sooooo...are ya gonna come get this thing? by the waay..I think you can buy both the shell and the insulation still from polaris......I will look....
nope..they show a kit(2204703), but it shows as a no good number....
I hear ya jim...I got a new truck last year as well...oh yeah..the daughter got the new pro last season...and couldnt ride it cause of work..man her sled was fun to ride....
