exhaust leak on boosted sled

how do you fix the doughnut gasket from leaking under boost.a new gasket and I also permatex the gasket and it leaks real bad when i pressure test it . cant get over 3 lbs of air on it and it starts leaking real bad. how bad does this affect the sled?

New gaskets, make sure the mating surfaces are clean.

Lots of springs.

Which one is leaking? Y Pipe or at the turbo?

The y pipe is leaking.have 9 springs on it already.

I really like the OVS system. It uses a bracket setup with some compressable springs. Holds boost "stupid good".... so good that the donuts last a long time with no goop needed.

You've done everything you can. Most of the time it'll get hot and seal up. Also after a short time the new gaskets will vibrate and wear enough that they'll mate up better.

That Ovs system cured my exhaust leakage and no more hard springs to put on.

Yup, its a bit-o-magic. So simple, but absolutely awesome!

Easy to put on, tighten em down till you ALMOST bind the coils, and forget it all season.
