exhaust/engine temperature gauge options

my 04 rev 800HO highmark extreme does not have an engine temperature (dummy light only) or exhaust gas temp. just for my curiousity I would like to have those on my sled if there is an affordable, eye pleasing option to add it.


anybody know any affordable options for that? because my sled only has a tach with the speedometer slot blanked out on my model, I would prefer cutting a hole in that blank round and mounting it there.

anyone have experience with a Racepak HotTach II?


they are discontinued but I found a deal on a used one. only worried about the fact that it says it requires a 12volt source, and I'm not running a battery. I understand it will reset when I turn my sled off (I don't think any settings will save inside it) but will I have to reprogram it every time i restart my sled? I don't want flashing lights and stuff, just straight numbers.
