Exhaust can sensor

Does anyone know why they put the can sensor on the bottom of can on the expert’s

They put them there on the 19's also,seems like oil would trap on senser faster,Hps says they are still building there mufflers with the senser bung on top of muffler for the 19''s don't know on the 20''s why they would be different
