Excessive Oil/Exhaust after running sled on stand

Over the off season I stored my 2013 Pro RMK on a lift stand and started it about every month. It leaves a large puddle of oil under it after running. The oil is coming from the exhaust can. I do have a Bikeman can on this sled. Not sure if this is normal for these sleds because it seems really excessive. Ive not had this happen with previous sleds. Is this normal?

Yes it's normal. I guess a lot of the PRO's do it. If it is just a quick startup the pipe does not get hot enough to actually burn the oil out of the pipe/can. Some of the oil is coming out of your drain tube which runs into the belly pan. You can re-route if you want so it doesn't make a mess in your belly.

as stated its pretty normal for them after storage, however if it continues to do it through the season you probably have a stuck oil check valve in you case, have replaced 3 or 4 of them in the last couple seasons for customers.

I actually have the same problem. I took mine into the dealer last week to have it checked out and they couldn't find anything wrong. They said it is normal and to just keep an eye on the oil res to make sure its not using more than it should. Also, is the oil black or the color of the oil when you fill up? Mine was a mix of both. That's why I was concerned. I must have spilled some when filling my res and didn't realize it or it came from the drain tube.

What the skidoo dont sidehill and handle as well as that pro. How dare you incinuate something like that, you should have your pee pee whacked for such a comment. I assume you rode skidoo anyway by the looks of your glove. Glad you like your sled and dont sweat the little bit of oil, they will do that if you start them periodically like that.:face-icon-small-win
