I know there has been a lot of noise here lately about a few morons that make everyone look bad, but I just wanted to share a small experience I just had. My family and I are headed to Stanley with some friends and we are taking a bunch of stuff into their cabin. They have a cargo sled, but I figured I'd just throw a request out to the local Boise area Snowesters and see if someone had one I could borrow or rent. I didn't expect too much and my wife thought I was completely off my rocker for even wasting the time asking. But a bit to my suprise and a lot to her's, I had a number of people offering, (nobody asking anything in return) to let me take their fold-a-sleds or toboggans.
There are some great people on this site and the rest of the world would be a whole lot nicer place if everyone acted like Gunga, Wade, AC Green and the others. Thanks for the use of your sleds and the restoration of my confidence in SWer's and humanity.
